SG Arrival Card for the JB–Singapore Land Crossing
Check who must submit SGAC when entering Singapore through Woodlands or Tuas, and use ICA's free official service.
Who needs to submit at a land checkpoint?
ICA's current SG Arrival Card guidance says Singapore citizens, permanent residents and long-term pass holders entering Singapore through Woodlands or Tuas are exempt. ICA includes Student's Pass, Dependant's Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass and Work Pass among long-term passes. Other travellers should check the current requirements for their travel status.
This land-checkpoint exemption is specific to the arrival card. It does not remove normal immigration, passport or entry requirements.
When and where to submit
If you need to submit SGAC, ICA says to do so within three days, including the day of arrival. Submission is free through ICA's SGAC page and its Submit Online link or the MyICA app. Check the confirmation and keep your travel document ready for clearance.
A paid third-party form does not improve your place in a checkpoint queue. ICA advises travellers to use its official free channels.
Separate the paperwork from traffic conditions
Submitting SGAC does not show or reduce the current road queue. For a return trip, inspect the JB → SG crossing guide, the latest timestamped LTA camera images and ICA advisories. Camera views are limited to selected Singapore road sections.
