Route and current departures

Shuttle Tebrau runs between JB Sentral and Woodlands Train Checkpoint. Check the KTMB booking page for the departure, seat availability and payable fare for your date. We do not publish a fixed timetable because departure times and inventory can change.

KTMB says tickets can be purchased online or at JB Sentral and Woodlands counters. Passport number and expiry date are needed for booking, and the passport serves as the boarding pass. See the KTMB Shuttle FAQ.

When to reach the gate

KTMB states that the gate at JB Sentral opens 30 minutes and closes 10 minutes before departure. At Woodlands it opens 40 minutes and closes 20 minutes before departure. The ticket counter stops sales 20 minutes before departure. Allow extra time to reach the station and follow the instructions on your ticket.

Published fare guidance

The KTMB fare FAQ lists JB Sentral → Woodlands at RM5. For Woodlands → JB Sentral, it lists RM5 for Malaysians and SGD5 for non-Malaysians, with the latter converted to ringgit in the booking flow. Check the actual checkout amount before paying. KTMB says there is no concession fare for Shuttle Tebrau.

Train or road crossing?

A train seat gives you a specific departure, but getting to the station, gate closure and clearance procedures still matter. Compare the available train with cross-border buses and current road camera frames. Camera images cannot tell you the train's border clearance time.
