Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC): Official Portal and Land Entry Checklist
Find the official MDAC form and check what to do before travelling from Singapore into Johor Bahru.
Go straight to the official MDAC portal
The Malaysia Immigration Department links to its Malaysia Digital Arrival Card portal from its official announcement. The portal labels the service for foreign visitors and provides current registration and eligibility infographics. Use that address directly when entering passport details.
Before you leave Singapore
- Open the official MDAC portal and read its eligibility guidance for your passport and pass status.
- If the form applies to you, enter your passport and trip details exactly as shown on your documents, then keep the submission confirmation available.
- Check that your passport and any Malaysian entry permission are valid for your trip. MDAC is an arrival declaration; it does not replace entry permission.
- Check checkpoint cameras separately for road conditions. A submitted form does not predict the queue.
Permanent residents and pass holders
Eligibility can depend on your nationality and Malaysian immigration status. Do not assume that Singapore permanent residence or a Singapore work pass, by itself, creates an exemption. Use the official portal's current eligibility infographic or ask Malaysia Immigration when your status is unclear.
